Emirates was launched in 1985. Its original livery and identity was created by Negus & Negus. The logo consists of the name "Emirates" written with Arabic calligraphic letters.

From 2004, the airline changed its slogan to Fly Emirates. Keep Discovering In 2008, Emirates launched a slogan mainly revolving around their route network of 100 destinations in 55++ countries across six continents - Fly Emirates. The Emirates font family is EK, which is not a commercial font. I downloaded the swf file that contains this typeface and decompiled to FLA file, the font name is "EK03plain - M02". The colour scheme used since 1985 was changed in November 1999 to Red that is still in use today.
