As Lauda Air became a wholly owned subsidiary of Austrian Airlines in December 2000, and later in 2005 the flight operation merged with Austrian Airlines, the word "Air" was officially dropped from the Lauda logo. In 2007, the new slogan "The Austrian way to holidays" was introduced. The brand architecture is creating the conditions for Lauda Air to become the world 's best leisure airline.
