Petro-Canada was a crown corporation of Canada in the field of oil and natural gas. It was headquartered in the Petro-Canada Centre in Calgary, Alberta. However, the Petro-Canada brand for fuels, petrochemical products and service stations, and the loyalty program are retained by Suncor Energy along with Suncor's Sunoco brand.

The Petro-Canada logo features a maple leaf on a red rectangle and logotype in black and bold font. The simple design makes the Petro-Canada road signs catch more attentions.
