In 1999, Exxon and Mobil merged to become Exxon Mobil Corporation. The new logo unified the font of tow logos to ITC Avant Garde Gothic while the "double x" icon of the Exxon has been retained. The color was also unified in the new logo, the blue of the Mobil has been dropped and only red was kept.
