After hosting the 2008 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, The Beijing National Stadium, a.k.a. Bird's nest's logo contest officially started. The design submitted by Zheng Bang was finally considered as the only candidate. The logo was later slightly modified by professor Liu Bo of China Central Academy of Fine Arts and unveiled as the official logo of Beijing National Stadium.
