BOSCH's logo was originally designed in 1918 by the then companies Technical Director, Robert Bosch. The Bosch logo represents a simple magneto armature and casing, one of the first components produced by the business.
The icon was dropped but in 2004, Bosch officially brought it back to the Bosch logo while the logo was modified by Erik Spiekermann, a German typographer and designer.
