The original Air Canada logo was designed by Hans Kleefeld,  from Stewart & Morrison Ltd., a Toronto based firm in 1960s, and was redesigned by Landor in 1990s. After the bankruptcy, the livery and logo was changed again by Future Brand, who kept the more "natural" maple leaf drawn by Landor and adopting the new San-serif typeface in 2004. The restyling of Air Canada's corporate identity provides continuity, while starting a new chapter in the airline's history.
