With name and color resolved, logo design strategies included 1) selection of a modern-feeling sans-serif type of sufficient weight to carry the color, 2) in upper/lower case to reconfirm the personal-name origin, 3) but now combined as one word to reinforce its integrity both as the firm's name and as a visual mark.  A final touch, the truncated 'g' descender, further celebrates the distinctiveness of an already distinctive name, and re-ensures its memorability.
