On Oct. 31, 2012, Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced that it will adopt a new global name – Actavis – effective in 2013. The Company said it will initiate a multi-year rebranding campaign for its facilities, operations and commercial presence.

A new logo, designed by Lippincott was unveiled later. The visual system further solidifies the brand’s outlook, with its predominant use of green and single, strong typeface, to streamline the disparate look of the two original companies. Working quickly towards an external launch, Lippincott developed guidelines with sample applications to assist internal creative and production teams in developing branded materials.
