Meo is a brand used for digital television, broadband and landline telephony – collectively known as triple-play – from Portugal Telecom, the incumbent telco in Portugal. In January, the brand launched a new corporate identity as it added mobile telephony to its offers. The new logo features a grand synthesis : No attempt lettering with better readability , we tried a new language , something that is perceived as new and original, something inspiring ,  said the Portuguese brand consultancy -- Mybrand, stressing that the notoriety of MEO allowed to move forward with this solution. In addition, each letter was associated an idea : Community - M; Communication - E; World - O.
