After more than two decades serve in China Main Land, the retirement of the original Coca-Cola Simplified Chinese logo, which was written in ancient calligraphy style finally arrived. One of the top graphics and advertising designers in China, Alan Chen (YouJian Chen), from Hong Kong was chosen by Coca-Cola to design of the new Chinese Coca-Cola logo in 2002.
The designer indicates that his goal was to "create a Chinese equivalent with the unique Spenderian style fluidity while imbuing it with a modernistic touch."
This logo combines the signature elements of the Coca-Cola script font and Chinese characters to create a Chinese version of the Coca-Cola logo.
